Exotic and game meats are recognised as being extremely healthy. They’re low in cholesterol, calories and fat, yet high in protein, iron and healthy oils meaning you have a superb selection to choose from as an alternative to the usual meats. This is of course, one of the main reasons that these meats are increasing in popularity.

For best results, please do not overcook, simply because there is very little fat within the meat and excessive cooking easily leads to dry and tough meat! We recommend cooking these meats one grade less than you would normally have your red meat cooked. For best results we recommend cooking medium rare to medium (pink in the centre).
