Simply the best!

After being brought up to eat only the usual meats, I was afraid to try Ostrich. I am so glad I did, it is extremely lean and is ideal in helping you to lose weight. It's also very very tasty. Buy some, you won't be disappointed. Mike

Not impressed

Perhaps it's my fault but I was expecting a significant 'taste'. I didn't get it,if I'd been blindfolded I wouldn't have been able to tell you that it wasn't beef.

Lovely

These are very nice and recommended. Quick and easy to make great meal

Ostrich steak night

Having had Kezie Kangeroo Fillet steaks from Iceland, I was keen to try some of their other foods. So next on the list for my table is the Ostrich Fillet steak, for me ant the wife. To be fair to the steak I decided to Cook and serve this steak in the exact same way as my Kangeroo Steak. So Chips, Side Salad and a Diane Sauce. Steaks cooked Medium Rare in a cast Iron Skillet. Having eaten the Kangeroo just two days prior the flavour and texture was still in my mind and pallet. So how does the Ostrich stand up to Kangeroo. Ostrich is closer to a Beef taste but is not quite as tender as the Kangeroo (not to say it was tough, as it was not that. It just not as tender as the Kangeroo.) I will buy again and try cooking in a different manor I will also be trying other Ostrich products. I will also review other meats as I try them. My reviews will be 100% honest and accurate. Warts will be included if required. I am also happy to share recipes for cooking and serving exotic foods kenn.gordon@yahoo.com (kezie can leave or remove my email as suits themselfs)
