Cooking Instructions

For best results pan fry from frozen. The following instructions are guidelines only. Ensure that the product is piping hot, thoroughly cooked and no pink colour remains before serving.

Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.

PAN FRY

  • Remove all packaging.
  • Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
  • Fry the sausages over a low to medium heat for 15 –18 minutes.
  • Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.

OVEN

  • Remove fall packaging.
  • Pre heat oven to 220/Fan 200/Gas 6
  • Cook sausages for 18-20 minutes.
  • Turn occasionally, reduce heat if necessary.

BBQ:

  • Pre-heat the BBQ to a medium heat.
  • Remove the product from the packaging.
  • Place on the BBQ and cook for 15-18 minutes
  • Turn frequently throughout cooking.

Keep frozen at -18°C. Use by date indicated on the pack. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.

Recipes & Videos
  • Steak Fajitas: Slice the cooked steak into thin strips. Sauté sliced peppers, onions, and garlic in a hot pan with olive oil until softened. Add the steak slices and season with fajita seasoning or a mixture of cumin, chilli powder, garlic powder, and oregano. Stir-fry until the steak is heated through. Serve the steak fajitas with warm tortillas, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, and shredded cheese.
  • Horse Burger Lettuce Cups: Prepare horse burger patties and cook them until done. Serve the patties in large lettuce leaves, creating delectable cups. Top with a mixture of diced tomatoes, red onion, and avocado. Drizzle with a tangy lime dressing for a light and refreshing twist.
  • Kangaroo Sausage Rolls: Use sausages as the filling for savoury sausage rolls. Encase the sausages in flaky puff pastry and bake until golden brown. Serve these as appetizers, snacks, or even as part of a picnic spread.
